Headaches, neck and jaw pain

Many types of pain can be caused by a problem with the bite. Clenching and grinding the teeth can often lead to pain in the head and neck as well as increased wear of the teeth. We can diagnose and help with these distressing problems.

Bite splints

A removable acrylic appliance is used to give the jaws a comfortable resting-place and stop clenching and grinding of the teeth. This may lead to a disappearance of painful symptoms and will protect the teeth.

Bite analysis and adjustment

Imperfections in the way the teeth bite may be the cause of grinding and clenching habits that lead to pain. We can take accurate models of your teeth and reproduce the way you bite on an advanced bite machine or articulator. We can analyse the bite, diagnose the problems and make the necessary adjustments to your teeth to improve the way the bite functions.
